Friday 11th to Sunday 13th was the weekend of the annual Canberra Multicultural festival, a great event to taste exotic food and watch performers from around the world.  Around 110,000 people attended the festival over the 3 days, making 2011 the most successful year in it’s history.

We spent Saturday afternoon walking through the crowds and checking out all the different food and drinks on offer.

After deciding on some traditional Russian and Indian food with Norwegian beer, we positioned ourselves in front of the main stage hoping to get some interesting photos of the performances.

For something a little different this week I thought I would showcase a new site I’ve recently launched for Botanica Landscapes, a local Canberra landscaping company.

I’ve posted logo concepts and photos for this project previously which you can view here and here.

The site’s main goal is to highlight the landscaping transformations that took place through rich and captivating photography. Hopefully I’ve achieved this with my photos!

Check it out at botanicalandscapes.com.au and let me know what you think.

Green Point, Tasmania

January 4, 2011

Of all of the places we camped in Tasmania, Green Point would have to be my favourite. It’s a long drive but the ocean views from the campsite more than make up for it.

Guide Falls, Tasmania

December 20, 2010

While heading South towards Cradle Mountain we stopped in at Guide Falls which isn’t far out from the town of Burnie. The light wasn’t great as the sky was overcast and it was getting late in the day. However, we did manage to get a few good long exposures of the waterfalls.
