Who am I

My name is Richard O’Neill and I’m web designer and developer located in Australia. I’ve been building web applications and websites professionally since I was 17, and worked at a number of large IT companies in Canberra.

I’m currently working as a web developer for the Emergency Services Agency.

Skills

First and foremost, my main love is creating large web applications. From AJAX interfaces to object oriented programming, I enjoy every bit of it. This website was originally built for me to write about application development and I’m planning to start doing that again soon. At the moment I’m only posting photography content as I don’t have the time to write articles lately.

Other hobbies include mountain biking, drawing, digital art and writing.

Tools

As of October 2010, I’m using a Canon 7D with a 24-105mm lens, and occasionally a 50mm Canon prime lens. When programming I use Coda on OSX and photoshop cs4 for web/graphic design.
